Rapeseed Oil or Canola Oil is a lightweight vegetable oil with a composition similar to olive oil, while offering the advantage of not imparting significant colour to cosmetic formulations. It is naturally rich in minerals, Vitamin A and Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), providing nourishment and conditioning benefits for the skin.
Its light texture allows for excellent skin absorption, making it an ideal ingredient for massage oils as well as facial creams and other skincare products that require a light, elegant feel.
In cold process soap making, Rapeseed Oil is an excellent alternative to olive oil, providing similar formulation benefits while helping maintain a lighter colour in the finished soap.
Properties: Moisturising, emollient, nourishing and lightweight. Rich in Vitamin A, minerals and Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA). Suitable for facial skincare, body care and massage formulations.
Recommended Uses: Massage oils, face and body creams, lotions, body oils, cold process soaps, daily skincare products and a wide range of cosmetic formulations.
