German Chamomile Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering tops of Matricaria chamomilla. During the distillation process, chamazulene is naturally formed, giving the essential oil its characteristic deep blue color and contributing to its renowned soothing properties.

It is one of the most highly valued essential oils for the care of sensitive, delicate, and irritated skin. It is widely used in eye care formulations and products designed to improve the appearance of dark circles and bruised-looking skin.
