Juniper Essential Oil

INCI: Juniperus communis

Juniper Berry Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation of the ripe berries of Juniperus communis, an evergreen conifer belonging to the Cupressaceae family. It is characterised by its fresh, woody, resinous, and subtly spicy aroma, creating a clean and revitalising fragrance. Hungary and Croatia are among the principal producing regions.

Traditionally used in aromatherapy, perfumery, and cosmetic formulations, Juniper Berry essential oil is especially appreciated in massage oils and body care products designed to improve the appearance of the skin. It is also widely incorporated into formulations for oily skin and body care products. Its distinctive forest-like aroma adds freshness and depth to natural perfumes, soaps, and personal care products.

Extraction Method: Steam distillation of the ripe berries.

Origin: Hungary and Croatia.

Contraindications: Considered non-toxic when used as directed and properly diluted. Prolonged or excessive use is not recommended. As with all essential oils, a patch test is advised before topical application.

Blends beautifully with Cypress, Lavender, Sandalwood, and Lemon essential oils.
