Chios Mastic Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation of the natural resin of the Pistacia lentiscus var. Chia tree, which is cultivated exclusively on the Greek island of Chios. It is prized for its fresh, resinous, slightly woody aroma and for its wide range of applications in aromatherapy and natural skincare.

Traditionally, it is used in formulations designed to relieve the feeling of heavy and tired legs, support the care of oily and acne-prone skin, and provide a revitalizing and toning effect. Renowned for its powerful cleansing and antimicrobial properties, it is also an excellent ingredient in seasonal wellness blends intended to promote respiratory comfort and overall well-being.

Contraindications: Considered non-toxic when used as directed and properly diluted.

Blends exceptionally well with Bay Laurel, Benzoin, Roman Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Juniper Berry, Lavender, Verbena, Lemongrass, Marjoram, Rose, Rosemary, and Thyme essential oils.
