Frankincense Essential Oil

INCI: Boswellia carterii

Frankincense Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation of the aromatic resin naturally exuded from the trunk of the Boswellia carterii tree. It is renowned for its warm, balsamic, woody, and subtly spicy aroma, making it one of the most treasured essential oils in perfumery, aromatherapy, and premium skincare. The principal producing regions are Somalia and Oman.

Traditionally used in skincare formulations for mature, dry, and tired skin, Frankincense is appreciated for its soothing and skin-conditioning properties. It helps support the skin's natural elasticity and healthy appearance while its elegant aroma promotes a sense of relaxation and well-being. Contraindications: Considered non-toxic when used as directed and properly diluted. As with all essential oils, a patch test is recommended before topical application.
